About International Yoga Day

The International Day of Yoga is a day of mindfulness and is celebrated across the world annually on June 21. The action for “Yoga Day” was taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his 2014 United Nation’s address. The first Yoga Day was celebrated globally in 2015. The essence of ‘yoga’ is to join or unite.
