Currently operating 350 daily flights with a fleet comprising 69 aircraft, Air India Express stands as a prominent player in the aviation sector. With a pilot count of around 1,300, including personnel from AirAsia India and trainees, the airline is about to further reinforce its position in the market.

According to Moneycontrol, Air India Express is gearing up to launch services to key destinations such as Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka during the upcoming summer schedule. This move is anticipated to not only strengthen the airline’s presence in the region but also cater to growing passenger demand.

Furthermore, the airline is on target to meet its formidable acquisition plan of fifty white-tail Boeing 737 Max planes, with approximately 13-14 planes already included in its fleet. The closing deliveries are predicted to be finished using December of this 12 months, bolstering the service’s operational capacity.

Air India Express to finalise the merger with AirAsia India

In a good sized development, Air India Express is inching in the direction of finalizing the merger with AirAsia India, a method slated for final touch by using the second area of the following fiscal year.
